For as long as we can remember, dogs have been important members of our families. My cousin John and I grew up in the midwest and hunting without a dog just didn't seem like hunting. So we all had dogs. I grew up with many Springers and, later, an unbelievable Golden Retriever. It seemed that Johnny always had a lab or two. And a Chesapeake. And a pointer. But the dogs that we trained for hunting were more often our companions at home, and life without a dog was unthinkable.
We love dogs and anytime we were in the duck blind or walking the fields together, John and I would talk about the need for a brand that connected with people like us.
We're working really hard to develop CamoDog. Since 1995, John and I have tried to figure out how two boys from Nebraska could come up with the gear that could give all the folks that love their dogs, work with their retrievers and even those who hunt, something that they would love to wear and use. We've got a great group of advisors, family and friends who help to guide us. Like Nona Bauer who always has a pack of Goldens. But we would love your input too. So take a look at what we have and help us if you can, by emailing us your thoughts or criticism. We'd love to grow this brand from the ground up. That way it will stay real.
Thanks,
Jay
